Top Ten Tuesday: Summer Reads!

It may sometimes be hard to feel summery here in ‘old blighty’ what with a near constant grey overcast. But, as ever, we can rely on books to transport us. Without further ado, and in no particular order, here are my top ten summer reads for 2017.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the beyond amazing The Broke and Bookish. If you don’t already you should head over there and check out the list of all the amazing book bloggers who take part, it’s a great way to find other bloggers who might read the same books as you!

In a season of travel why not read this heartwarming story of one man’s incredible journey? REVIEW
Cool off with a dip into this mermaid mystery novel. REVIEW
Tropical sunshine and a contest like no other… REVIEW
A sequel to Dreams and Shadows but with an Australian flair.
house of shattered wings
Can’t spend summer in the real Paris? transport yourself to this post-magical war city. REVIEW
Use those long summer days to tackle this weighty novel (well worth the time). REVIEW
If you’re willing to shed a tear or two, this book could change your life.
Despite being a book I read at school, this will always be a summer read to me.
Another book that just transports you. This time to Venice!
Let’s end on a classic. Well worth a read if you haven’t had a chance yet!

So there you have it. 10 Books that to me say ‘read me over the summer’ either due to theme or length or just a gut feeling.

What do you guys think of my list? Anything I should add? Link me to your TTT posts below or on twitter (@judithcmoore). Can’t wait to hear from you!
