And we’re back with an exciting TTT theme. We’re looking at anticipated reads! I talk about anticipated reads sometimes on Want to Read Wednesdays but it’ll be nice to plonk some of them all in one place. Without any further ado here are my top ten most anticipated books for the second half of 2017! (I’ve linked the titles to their goodreads pages so you can add them to your tbr if you like.)
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the beyond amazing The Broke and Bookish. If you don’t already you should head over there and check out the list of all the amazing book bloggers who take part, it’s a great way to find other bloggers who might read the same stuff as you!
I adored Gilded Cage and I’m super excited for the sequel which is currently set to release on September 5th 2017.
I had the chance to read an arc of this and I am so excited for it to be released into the world in September!
Ok I confess, I’m partly just in love with this cover! This sounds to me like a fantasy, romantic adventure with so much potential to be really beautiful. Wild beauty publishes at the start of October.
This book is a fantasy novel with a gender fluid main character. If this is done well it could be really exciting. I’m eager to find out! Mask of Shadows publishes in September.
Monster hunting 1900s sisters and a magical curse? Sign me up! Odd and True publishes in September.
I’m gradually reading more and more science fiction and the idea of the game element in Warcross really caught my eye. Keep a look out for it in September!
You had me at ‘feminist snow white retelling.’ I can only hope it is intersectional! Releases…September as well!
Twin sisters, fairytale, fantasy, it’s everything I want in life. This is the start of a new duology and I’m looking to see how it begins! Releases August.
Described as ‘a gritty, Nigerian inspired fantasy’ Beasts made of night looks to be a compelling fantasy read which publishes in October.
Another bit of cover love. But here’s another great fairytale-esque story of friendship and curses coming in October.
The second half of 2017 looks to be a wonderful time for publishing doesn’t it! Any of these books sparking your interest too? Let me know in the comments and link me to your TTT posts so I can see what you’re looking forward to!
