10 Books I Can’t Believe I Read – TTT

Hello Humans! Today’s TTT theme is 10 books I can’t quite believe I actually read. This was a tricky one, but I’ve managed to come up with a few for you to peruse!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and is an awesome way to discover new bloggers who like the same kind of books as you do!

The Contrary Tale of the Butterfly Girl – One of many on this list that was just plain weird.

The Starlight Barking – Also weird. But I have no regrets this is one of my favourite sequels.

The Illusionists  – I think this was an impulse pick up at my local library. This isn’t the kind of book I enjoy at all so I’m surprised I got all the way through it.

The Night Brother  – To date one of the oddest bits of fiction I have ever read.

The Whitby Witches – A great book, it’s just not the normal kind of thing I go for given the age of the intended reader. But this is a lovely book!

Breath of Fire – I didn’t realise how much sex would be in this one! I’m no prude but it did come as a shock.

Godblind – One of the most unnecessarily gory books I have ever read!

The Coven – With that cover, why did I ever think that would be a good book?

My Side of the Diamond – A strange, but fun book. Having seen the physical copies in bookshops I actually quite like this now, it’s still weird though.

Too Like the Lightning – I’m surprised I managed to make it through this one as it is SO long and SO boring.

What books are on your list? Let me know in the comments below and link me to your TTT!

  1. Ooh, I actually haven’t read any of the books one this list! I think one of the few books I’m surprised I read was Twilight back in the sixth grade. I already knew what was going to happen and had heard it was absolutely awful…and I still went for it. I enjoyed the first book, but I ended up getting bored midway through New Moon, so I never continued. 😂
