TTT – 10 Books that Take Place in Another Country

Hello humans! Todays TTT topic is HARD! I wanted to choose books that were set in countries other than the UK (and just using the US feels like cheating) but also I wanted to avoid just using ‘well it’s a fantasy land’ because I could basically use every book I have ever read. This is definitely a kick up my backside to read books set in other countries! I’ve therefore decided to use 10 books that have either non-western settings or take place in another country – I hope that’s ok!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted byย That Artsy Reader Girlย and is an awesome way to discover new bloggers who like the same kind of books as you do!

That was a tricky one! Let me know if you’ve been to any of the places in these books (or the places that inspired them!) Also please do link me to your TTT in the comments I love reading your lists!

  1. What a lovely bunch of books! I had the same issue. Most of mine are either US based or in England. I was able to get the list done, but barely! I forgot about The Book Thief too! How could I do that to such a lovely book? Great list! Thank you for sharing.

  2. Flame in the Mist and Forest of a Thousand Lanterns โค I seriously did not expect the latter to be as dark as it was! The author totally deceived me with her light, fluffy and cute character on that front, haha.
My copy of Children of Blood and Bone arrived yesterday and I'm puuumped! Need to read it before I meet Tomi and get it signed! ๐Ÿ˜€
