Bookish Pin Collection

Hello humans! One of my absolute favourite things to collect is enamel pins and badges, I think it’s the magpie in me, I just love shiny things. I recently added a couple of new additions to my collection and I thought it would be fun to talk about them with you and also have a record of what I actually have before I get any more (and I will be getting more).

I should say that a lot (most) of these I got through Fairyloot boxes, that just happens to be where they are from, I’m not affiliated with them in any way, I just love these pins.

Fairyloot pin

This Fairyloot enamel pin was something they were giving out to subscribers at YALC last year, it’s lovely quality, though it has spent most of the year so far adorning the wall of my desk at work.

This mortal coil pin

This pin was a bonus item in the November 2017 Fairyloot box, I actually hadn’t heard of This Mortal Coil before then and I am so glad I did because it was a really good book and I cannot wait for the sequel.

As travars pin

This pin, inspired by the Shades of Magic series, was a recent purchase from Fable and Black. I love this pin and it was such good value!

Pegasus pin

This pegasus pin, inspired by Blackjack from the Percy Jackson books was another Fairyloot item, I forget which box but it was one of the 2018 ones. I normally have this pinned to a jacket because it makes me smile.

Fairyloot badge

I don’t actually remember where this Fairyloot badge came from, though I think it must have been either a box or YALC.

The last namsara badge

This badge was another bonus item in the November 2017 Fairyloot box. I loved this book so it’s nice to have the button as well.

Constant vigilance pin

Another Fable and Black purchase, this is my favourite piece of Harry Potter inspired merch I own, I think it’s such a clever design and I may have to put it on a jacket to show it off!

divider3 (1)I believe in tea and books pin

This was actually a gift from my dear friend Anna, who I believe got it from a Waterstones? I’m not 100% sure, but this pin is me to a tee.

divider3 (1)dark mark pin

This cartoon interpretation of the Dark Mark was from the October 2017 Fairyloot box, I normally have this pinned to the collar of a green shirt dress because even though I am apparently only 0.3% Slytherin I always feel like wearing something a little more sinister when I’m in green. It is from House of Wonder.

I couldn’t find it, for some reason, but I do also have the pin from the ACOFAS preorder campaign (I’m a sucker for preorder campaigns it must be said), but I’m not a huge fan of the series and I may have to trade it – if I can just find the bloomin’ thing!

  1. Omg the tea pin is beautiful! I collect bookmarks from the places I’ve been, but rely on Fairyloot for bookish merch – this month is my last though! Pins are so cute to collect. I feel like they’re affordable too compared to some other merch, which is always an important factor for me 🙂
