Hello humans! Today’s TTT theme was actually ‘Bingeworthy TV Shows/Amazing Movies’ but I rarely have time for TV at the moment and my taste in movies is appalling so instead I thought I’d share the ten books of which I would love to watch TV or Movie adaptations.*
*Real talk: I, of course, mean seventeen-hour epics in which every tiny detail of the book is replicated perfectly on screen.
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and is an awesome way to discover new bloggers who like the same kind of books as you do!
Which books are on your list of dream adaptations? Let me know in the comments below!

Uprooted for sure!! Isn’t it considered as a movie atm? I think I’ve read something about it.
‘City of Brass’ would be interesting 🙂

I think City of Brass would only work as a TV series tbh. I’m not sure about Uprooted, though I can’t imagine anyone could do it justice

Ah, now this is a twist on the prompt that I could have taken on. I’m always reading books and thinking they’d make a good show. Great idea!

I love that this list has a bunch of diverse, specifically Asian (because I’m very biased), books! I totally agree with Heroine Complex and The City of Brass. It would be awesome to see either one on-screen.
Amazing post!

Ah thank you! I’ve been trying to keep my reading diverse though there’s always more to read! I think Heroine Complex would work so well on screen I’m surprised no-one has done it yet!

I’m generally a fan of superhero-related series and films, so you can bet that I’ll devour an adaptation of Heroine Complex without a second thought! I think Julie Kagawa’s The Iron Fey would make an excellent adaptation, too. A world of magic and faeries as well as faeries born from what’s meant to kill them? SIGN ME UP!

Nice take on this week’s topic! I haven’t read any of these books but just recently checked Six of Crows out from the library. I hope I enjoy it as I’ve heard great things about it. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.

I’m about half way through Lifel1k3, and I completely agree with that choice. I absolutely love it. And honestly, who wouldn’t want to watch Six of Crows and To Kill a Kingdom?!

Yes! I vote for 17 hour epics where every detail is recreated perfectly on the screen! The City of Brass is on sale this month on Amazon.com. I haven’t read it yet, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to pick it up this month while it’s on sale.
