Is this just the bragging week? Probably…
Hello humans! Welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post where today I am talking about books that may not have been my favourites but I am glad I read nonetheless.
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and is an awesome way to discover new bloggers who like the same kind of books as you do!
Anna Karenina, Leo Tolstoy
This is the only braggy one I promise! This was a book that made me super fed up, I didn’t get on with the characters (for the most part, there are exceptions) but I was very proud when I did get to the end.
Batman: Nightwalker, Marie Lu
I did not get on with this one. Something inherently superhero felt missing for me. However, I did feel good about continuing the DC icons series and I’m looking forward to Catwoman when that comes out.
Those Above, Daniel Polansky
Another book I didn’t enjoy but boy did it feel like an achievement to get to the end. It was also a useful thing to remind myself what I do and don’t enjoy in fantasy!
This book is perhaps a little odd to put on this list since I loved the story but didn’t love the way it was written, quite literally (check out my review to see what I mean). I’m glad I read it for the story.
The Fate of the Tearling, Erika Johansen
It’s no secret that I’m annoyed at the ending of this trilogy. Nonetheless, I am glad I read it and drawing an end to a trilogy is always satisfying.
I tend not to read books I dislike, or if I do read them I’m usually filled with little more than regret so I’ve opted to only have five books in this weeks TTT!
What books have you read that you didn’t like but are glad you finished? Let me know in the comments and link me to your TTT!

Ughhh Satellite. I really wanted to read it but just couldn’t get past that writing style!

I will forever stand by the fact that I wouldn’t have minded if they just explained why! All I can think is that the author refused to cut word count and it was all they could do!?

I’ve always been interested in The Tearling series. Too bad the ending isn’t great.

I’d still recommend the first two!

I picked up Batman: Nightwalker and Wonder Woman: Warbringer a couple of months ago! It’ll be interesting to see what I think, but that’s good that you plan on continuing with Catwoman!

I am SO torn on whether I want to continue the Tearling series. I really didn’t care much for the first book but I was so interested in the second book. I’ve heard SO many people say they hated the last book!

I liked it until the last 20 pages or so!

Oh! I’m just about to start The Queen of the Tearling. I’ll be interested to see how I get on with it now.

It’s still fun I think, and if you’re anything like me then reading the entirity of a series is satisfying in itself.
