Killian’s Dead, Josie Jaffrey – Book Review

Hello Humans – just dropping in for a quick review today to get you prepared for the upcoming review of Mayday which I’m hoping to read next month:

I am *beyond* hyped for this world, these characters and this short story. I’m not normally one for this genre – to be perfectly honest – and books set in Oxford usually leave me rolling my eyes, but I should have known I was in safe hands with Josie.
This book feels like it was written by someone who wanted to write about Oxford, not about a fancy university and it just works. I loved the queer elements of the story and there’s a whole lot of intrigue packed into not many pages! I think this will have appeal crossing so many different genres/sub-genres and I’m excited for more people to get to encounter Josie’s writing and this whole universe!
I’m already dying to read the book and will be biting my fingernails until I can read it. YES.

Let's talk!
