Hello humans! Last Wednesday I announced that I was planning on focussing my reading in November to the books that I own since recently it feels like I’ve just been reading ARCs while my pile of books at home just grows and grows. I thought it would help to make some kind of a TBR for this to help motivate me.
But here’s the tricky part:
I’m also planning on doing Nanowrimo this year which is certainly going to take up quite a bit of my time and energy. So, while I have around 31 books on my ‘owned’ TBR I think it’s very unlikely that I will actually get through all 31 in November.
I think 15 seems like a pretty good number to work with, cutting that owned pile in half. Especially since I’m sure there will be a couple of ARCs that will need to be read for review during that time as well. So I’ve gone through my list and picked out a combination of the books I am most excited for and the books that have just been sat on my TBR for far too long.
Think that’ll keep me going? I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a tough but great month. I’m not quite sure yet how I’m going to keep you all updated on the goings on, but it is likely to be weekly posts with updates on both Nanowrimo and Ownvember so be sure to follow me here and on Twitter, so you can either celebrate my successes or wallow with me in failure!
See you soon!
